Wanaka Helicopters is a family owned and directed commercial helicopter operator and flight training school conducting scenic, commercial, charter and training flights. Established as NZ’s premier and most experienced helicopter flight training school, offering private (PPL), commercial (CPL) training, and tertiary training including the Diploma in Aviation NZDipGA (Helicopter). Our team operates in and around our mountains on a daily basis in our fleet of Robinson R22, Guimbal Cabri, Robinson R44 and Airbus AS350 Squirrel helicopters. We specialise in scenic, luxury, and wedding flights to some of the most beautiful remote locations in New Zealand. We also offer commercial, agricultural, and charter services as well as our world-class flight training school. Our 3 Cabri's are predominantly used for Flight training but also utilized commercially for mustering, hunting activities, photography/filming and occasionally single PAX scenic flights.
